A Foot-Ball Match 


 



Last Sunday a interesting foot-ball match was played between the Sheranwala Islamia Hight School and the Govt. High School. The teams entered the play-ground at 4 p.m. The referee blew the whistle and the game started. Our captain, Rauf Jamal kicked the ball. InThe players began to run here and there with the ball the beginning the game was slow. Once our centreforward Ali took the ball the goal. But the goal-keeper stopped the ball smartly and saved the goal. At this the game became brisk and interesting. Our centrefor, wards once again carried the ball near the goal. There were great shorts of joy. A few minutes later the referee whistled and it was half time. In the second half the Govt. School played desperately. The players grew more active. After five minutes, their captain ran with the ball and sent it through the goal. Both the teams were. Then the game became more interesting. Every player did the best. When five minutes were left our team scored another goal. The other team tried their best to score a goal but failed. Then the refreee whistled and the game was over. We won by two to one.

گزشتہ اتوار کو شیرانوالہ اسلامیہ ہائی سکول اور گورنمنٹ کے درمیان ایک دلچسپ فٹ بال میچ کھیلا گیا۔ ہائی اسکول. ٹیمیں شام 4 بجے کھیل کے میدان میں داخل ہوئیں۔ ریفری نے سیٹی بجائی اور کھیل شروع ہوا۔ ہمارے کپتان رؤف جمال نے گیند کو لات ماری۔ کھلاڑیوں نے یہاں اور وہاں گیند کے ساتھ بھاگنا شروع کیا کھیل کا آغاز سست تھا۔ ایک بار جب ہمارے سینٹرفورڈ علی نے گیند کو گول کر دیا۔ لیکن گول کیپر نے گیند کو چالاکی سے روکا اور گول بچایا۔ اس وقت کھیل تیز اور دلچسپ ہو گیا۔ ہمارے سینٹر فار ، وارڈز ایک بار پھر گیند کو گول کے قریب لے گئے۔ خوشی کے بڑے شارٹس تھے۔ چند منٹ بعد ریفری نے سیٹی بجائی اور آدھا وقت ہو گیا۔ دوسرے نصف میں حکومت سکول مایوس کھیلا۔ کھلاڑی مزید متحرک ہو گئے۔ پانچ منٹ کے بعد ، ان کے کپتان گیند کے ساتھ بھاگ گئے اور اسے گول کے ذریعے بھیج دیا۔ دونوں ٹیمیں تھیں۔ پھر کھیل مزید دلچسپ ہو گیا۔ ہر کھلاڑی نے بہترین کارکردگی کا مظاہرہ کیا۔ جب پانچ منٹ باقی تھے ہماری ٹیم نے ایک اور گول کیا۔ دوسری ٹیم نے گول کرنے کی پوری کوشش کی لیکن ناکام رہی۔ پھر ریفری نے سیٹی بجائی اور کھیل ختم ہو گیا۔ ہم دو ایک سے جیت گئے۔
